Her favorite styles of dance are Tap and Hip Hop, but enjoys every type of dance. After high school she continued dancing at a collegiate level for the Texas State University Strutters. The Strutters are made up of 100 girls making it the largest university dance team in the United States. Mackenzie was on the team for four years where she was a line officer and choreographed tap routines for their Spring Show. She recently graduated from Texas State with her Bachelor’s of Health and Wellness Promotion. Her dream is to go to nursing school and become a Registered Nurse. Gentri played a huge part in shaping Mackenzie into the dancer she is today and she is very excited to teach at the studio where she grew up dancing.
